Living Stories
Living Stories is our open chapter: the Miami being made right now, told through its people, the ventanita owners, the muralists, the musicians, the abuelas, the newcomers. History books cover the past; this is where the present gets its pages.
We collect these stories the Wikipedia way: verifiable, attributed, never invented. If we cannot verify it, we do not publish it.
How we tell them
Every living story on this wiki follows our editorial standard: the people are real, the places are real, the facts are checked. We interview, we attribute, we link to sources. What we cannot verify, we leave out: a thin true story beats a rich invented one.
This is the BTS Miami method applied to storytelling: the rigor of an encyclopedia, the voice of the street.
Where to find them
Living stories grow inside the articles: the domino players in Little Havana, the muralists of the muralist movement, the peacock feeders of the Grove. As we publish standalone stories, they will be gathered here.
The Community proposes them; our curation verifies them.
Propose a story
Know a Miamian whose story should be told? A place with a past worth recording? Propose it through the Community page. If it checks out, we tell it: with your credit and our verification.
