Frost Museum of Science
The Phillip and Patricia Frost Museum of Science is Miami's science museum: a planetarium, a three-level aquarium and hands-on exhibitions, all in a striking bayfront building in Museum Park. It is where Miami's kids, and the kid in every adult, go to touch the universe.

The story
The museum descends from the Junior Museum of Miami, founded in 1949. It reopened in its landmark Museum Park building in 2017, designed by Grimshaw Architects, next door to PAMM: science and art sharing the same bayfront.
The building itself is an exhibit: a 250-seat planetarium, a 500,000-gallon aquarium cone, and a living roof with native Florida habitat.
The vibe
Frost is organized wonder: kids pressing noses to shark tanks, the planetarium's dome swallowing the room in stars, the rooftop with downtown glittering behind. It is loud, joyful, and genuinely educational: the rare museum that exhausts children in the best way.
The bayfront setting makes it a full-day outing with PAMM and Bayfront Park.
