The Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts is Miami's great stage: the second-largest performing arts center in the United States, home to resident companies and the address for Broadway tours, opera, ballet and concerts in Downtown Miami.

The story
The center opened in 2006, giving Miami a world-class home for the performing arts, and giving its resident companies a stage worthy of them. The Florida Grand Opera and Miami City Ballet perform here, alongside Broadway's touring productions and a full concert calendar.
Its two main halls, the Ziff Ballet Opera House and the Knight Concert Hall, anchor the cultural corridor along Biscayne Boulevard.
The vibe
Opening nights at the Arsht are Miami at its most dressed-up: the boulevard glowing, the lobbies buzzing in three languages, the sense that the whole city decided to be in the same room. The free community events on the plaza keep the doors genuinely open.
This is the city's living room for the big nights.
