The Miami Symphony Orchestra, MISO, is the city's symphony: performing the great orchestral repertoire for Miami audiences, and carrying the city's name into the concert halls of the world.

The story
MISO has built its seasons around the masterworks, Beethoven to Latin American composers, performing for a Miami audience that brings its own energy to the concert hall. The orchestra's recordings and tours carry the city's cultural brand abroad.
It is the sound of Miami taking the classics seriously.
The vibe
A MISO night is Miami listening at its best: the hall hushed, the strings rising, the city outside forgotten for two hours. The programs mix the canon with the hemisphere's voices: exactly like the city itself.
Classical music here is not a museum piece; it is a living night out.
