Mid-Beach and North Beach
North of South Beach's buzz, the shoreline calms down: Mid-Beach and North Beach are where Miami goes to actually be at the beach. Same Atlantic, same white sand: fewer crowds, more locals, a slower rhythm.

The place
The beachwalk runs continuously up the island, so you can walk for miles on sand and boardwalk. Mid-Beach holds the big resort hotels set back behind dunes; North Beach keeps a neighborhood feel: families, regulars, space to breathe.
The water is the same turquoise; the soundtrack is quieter.
The vibe
